We are honoured that our scheme -The Stag, Little Easton - was recognised by the Construction Industry Research and Information Association (CIRIA) susdrain community in Cardiff last week winning Highly Commended in the Early Housing Scheme (not yet completed) category. The judges remarked that they were impressed by the early involvement of SuDS in the masterplanning and that it was a phenomenal achievement to include so many SuDS features within such a small site. The judges also highlighted the project for looking beyond the site boundaries in order to maximise sustainable drainage.

This is the third time in a row that Refolo Landscape Architects has been acknowledged by susdrain in their biennial awards which is quite an achievement! Well done to the entire team, there were over 30 entries in this year's awards, we are very proud. We have plenty of projects to submit for 2026 already so watch this space!

We had a brilliant day in Cardiff seeing some incredible SuDS projects in the city and meeting colleagues from across the country who are just as passionate about SuDS as we are!
