R-LA and frog environmental teamed up to create pocket wetlands and
floating landscapes using Biohaven floating island gardens on the Regent's
Canal in Kings Cross and Baynes Street.
The Biohaven landscape biomimics the principles of a natural system to
improve water quality and create better landscapes for people and
wildlife.
The floating landscape provides an inexpensive new habitat for both
terrestrial and aquatic organisms, cleansing the water through the
combination of four different processes without the need for chemical
additives or energy. The resulting aesthetic quality provides a wide
range of social and environmental benefits.
