The Asia-Pacific Region, rich in diverse landscapes and cultures, faces mounting challenges from rapid economic growth—climate change, biodiversity loss, and eroding traditional knowledge among them. This conference invites landscape architects to critically examine the Growth Paradox—what kind of growth are we pursuing, and who benefits from it? Through ecological, sociocultural, economic, and philosophical lenses, it calls for reimagining growth that supports human well-being and planetary health. As integrators of development, environment, and community, landscape architects are uniquely positioned to lead this urgent dialogue.
This Congress will bring together landscape architects and professionals to connect and discuss on the latest trends and engage on an exciting theme "Growth Paradox- Reimagining Landscapes".
